I made my first visit to the chicken and crab capital of the world (Salisbury, MD) to visit my grandparents at the homestead and celebrate Christmas. I spent a whole week down there and kept busy. It was a blur so I'll just brainstorm some thought. I helped decorate the tree in my new Christmas outfit. Admittedly, I was a little stunned by my my appearance. The snowflakes were pretty sweet, but the collar might have been over the top. On Christmas night we had a visit from Santa Claus who also happens to own the fly fishing shop in town. I got to hang with some native Salisburians, including Aunts Jessie and Emily and their respective beaus, Unlce Ben (ha!) and Andrew. (Andrew is the one holding me above.) On Christmas morning we got to open presents! Santa Claus brought me some books and a jack in the box, which I opened with Pop-Pop. I also spent time with Nana in the kitchen. I can hold things now! All in all it was a grand old time. Oh, I would be remiss if I failed to mention my first visit to La Roma. The lasagna was fantastic, the wine superb and the bread hot. Now I know what all the fuss is about.
