When I was in my mom's belly I spent the whole time in this thing called a placenta. It is basically a cocoon that keeps me nourished and helps me grow. I feel a special attachment to my old world and wanted to give it a home in my new world. Given my love of all things arbor, I decided to plant it under a Japenese maple in the yard my mom grew up in. Actually, I was more of a supervisor. Dad dug the whole with Pop-Pop, and mom and Nanny gave it some watering love. Camille was on hand in case any of us turned our back on her.

The Co-Pilot
My Lady Friends
Los Dientes
Here is a shot of me after I crushed that sweet corn. Check out those chompers. I actually sent this picture and my resume to a local semi-pro wrestling operation in South Philly. I'm still waiting for a call back, but I've already decided on my stage name: The Junkyard Monkey. Seriously, name one person who would not be intimidated to wrestle a monkey who spends his days protecting a junkyard.

Weekend in Hartford
A few weekends ago I partied with Nita, Jill's daughter. Nita was born a couple of weeks before me. Check out her blue eyes. They're dreamy. I met her and a bunch of mom's friends from college. I think Philadelphia is a pretty cool town, but Nita lives in Mexico City! How cool is that?! That's pretty fantastic. It was fun riding the train and meeting everyone. Thanks to Kendra and Woody for putting up with me and the other crazy ladies.
If You're Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands
I recently learned how to clap. Who would have thought that striking your two hands together and making a slapping noise immediately makes you the center of attention in a room full of adults? It doesn't matter what time of day it is--breakfast, in the tub, dinner, bedtime--this is what I love to do. Stay tuned for blowing kisses...
