Scott, my cuz

My mom's cousin Scott did a Philly fly-by on Friday and I was able to have lunch with him at DiBruno Brothers...mmm. We caught up on old business, and I was especially thankful that Scott (who'd never worn one before) carried me in the Baby Bjorn all the way home from Center City

--we were sweating by the end. I hope to see him again sometime soon.

I Found My Feet

Like Columbus discovering America, I discovered my feet this week (I didn't know they were there, but a lot of other people did). They are down at the end of my incredibly svelte legs. I can't get enough of them.

Jujus

Do you remember when I wrote recently about the completely ingenious Koala Bear my aunt Julia made for me? Well, here she is. She flew in from Berkeley, CA last weekend and and spent two wild nights with mom and dad. I think our eye genes are similar.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Carlota

Matt and Carlota are pretty great. I crashed at their place in Boston on my way to a hiking trip in North Conway, NH recently. We did all sorts of things, like play darts, kick back and make pizzas.

A Confession

I try to be pretty modest and even overly self-deprecating, but there's one thing I can't deny without being obviously insincere: I am outrageously cute.

Easter Goodness

The Easter Bunny delivered his basket via FedEx this year. Here I am receiving the package and enjoying the basket.

60th Anniverseries

2008 is the year that both sets of my Great-Grandparents celebrated their 60th Anniversaries. I'm pretty grateful because if they never met and fell in love then my grandmother and grandpa wouldn't be here. If they weren't here then dad wouldn't be here. If dad didn't exist then the world would have one less cute monkey (me). As Brad Paisley says, it's "all because two people fell in love." I can be cheesy sometimes.

My Kowawa

My Aunt Julia is totally crafty. She's made some pretty awesome stuff in her lifetime, but nothing more awesome than this sweet koala bear she made for me. It's hand-stiched and everything. I love it. Shoot me a line if you're interested in having her make something for your cute and cuddly loved one.

It's Official

Sorry to all my ladies out there, but I have to profess my love to Mia. We've been dating for a while and finally made the decision to start being exclusive. I feel good about it. She's pretty great. She's fun, likes to eat, can roll over, smiles alot and comes from a well respected Fairmount family. Anyhow, we're official.

Happy Birthday Momma

My mom celebrated her first of many 29th birthdays on March 27. We had a small celebration with a lot of cupcakes and this flickering light stick that we somehow could blow out. Aren't I lucky to have such a fun and beautiful momma?

My First 5k

I like running. It gets me outside and gets my heart rate up. Thanks to Kristen and Matt for hooking me up with the stroller.
